Having always had keen interest in Dental Technology, innovations and aesthetics Mr Pierides has travelled extensively and attended many different dental courses and events.
Through his participation in such seminars he had the privilege of meeting well renowned dental technicians, and dentists, masters in their field, with which he has built lasting friendships that have led to the valuable exchange of knowledge and expertise.
One such friend is Peter Vryonis of Peter Vryonis Ceramist’s Pty Ltd. In Melbourne Australia for which he worked for seven years before returning to Cyprus where, he established Toothmaster Co, Ltd., in Limassol. One of the most rewarding aspects of his career as a dental laboratory owner was the opportunity to train young and other dental technicians, and to take pride in seeing the majority of them succeed in their craft today.
In deciding to get more involved in the treatment of patients and thus enrolled into Advanced Dental Technicians course at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia. Having completed the course, he enjoyed many years treating patients’ needs in removable prosthesis from start to finish.
Currently back in Cyprus and as of June 2009, he is back in the Cyprus dental fraternity at Chrysovalantou Clinic as a consultant, still sharing his knowledge and expertise with dentists and technicians alike, at New Line Dental Laboratory in Limassol. His goal as a consultant to the dental profession is to offer patients results beyond their expectations and to help his colleagues to provide the highest quality dental prostheses.
